We worship God because He is worthy to receive our praise. Worship is not just about singing songs, it is about living for his glory every day of our lives, but we also love to come together each Sunday, to worship God in song from our hearts. Our sung worship at St Saviour’s is where we praise God together. Whether in good times or bad, we come to remember God’s love for us.
At our morning service we want our praise to reflect everyone who comes along so our sung worship is a mixture of modern worship songs played by the band, and traditional hymns on the organ. Therefore young and old join together to praise God.
In our evening services we have a smaller band with an extended time of worship and more reflective songs.
We have a great team of musicians from ages 16 to 70, wonderfully supported by a sound and visuals team, but we are always happy to welcome new members. Our practices are usually Friday evenings.
If you have musical talent and are interested in getting involved, please see Carolyn after a morning service, or email her via the office.
