Meeting the needs of our community with a new Youth & Community Centre
Opening up the church for a new generation

St Saviour’s is a church firmly rooted in community life. For generations it has served the needs of the parish of Larkhall. It has been important for us to grow and adapt to meet the changing needs of the parish and to make the building accessible and usable to as wide a range of people as possible.

Many groups have used our facilities including Guides, singing groups, keep fit, community day club, toddlers and a Fairtrade coffee morning – and that’s not to mention our own youth and children’s groups.

We therefore embarked on a building project in 2016 building St Saviour’s Community Hub. This has adapted and expanded our existing facilities to open up the church further by developing a new, multi-room community facility inside the walls of the current church.

The Service of Celebration & Dedication for the completion of the St. Saviour’s Community Hub was on Sunday 18th September 2016 at 3pm with the Bishop of Bath and Wells with the Rt Revd. Peter Hancock. A community open day for all was held on 8th October 2016.
